At full throttle the enemy aircraft hurtle at tree-top height across the landscape, the valley echoing with their thunder. Instantly the peaceful rural scene is transformed; farmworkers rush for cover, dogs scamper in all directions, startled birds take to the air, and for a few frightening moments, chaos reigns.
