Typhoons 0f No. 198 Squadron ( 123 Wing ) RAF flown by P/O Don. W. Mason and F/O. R. Armstrong ( RAF ) about to attack ground targets near Caen , Normandy , June 18th , 1944... This very special print is Released in Memory of Australian Pilot Officer Don .W. Mason who was shot down and killed on this Mission... Sadly his body remained secretly entombed in the cockpit of his aircraft in a French field for 49 years...
