A unique Collectors piece comprising a signed and numbered limited edition print mounted with a rare British Postal Cover, hand-stamped at Hendon in 1985, each signed by the great Battle of Britain fighter Ace Bob Stanford Tuck... These are no ordinary Postal Covers! Lavishly die-stamp printed from a specially commissioned engraving, aircraft and lettering are reproduced in full color relief, with RAF Fighter Command crest appearing in gold relief. In mint condition, each Postal Cover was officially hand-stamped at Hendon, home of 257 Squadron during the Battle of Britain, on the 45th Anniversary of the Battle, in August 1985... The authentic Royal Mail postmark is unique to this Postal Cover, each of which is individually hand-signed in pencil by Wing Commander Bob Stanford Tuck. Each valuable Postal Cover, on its own is worth the price of the complete package, is conservation mounted together with a magnificent limited edition print by Nicolas Trudgian depicting Bob Stanford Tuck's 257 Squadron Battle of Britain Hurricane...
