This is a rare Limited Edition by Frank Wootton signed by the legendary Luftwaffe General Adolf Galland...Taken from an original oil painting by Frank Wootton depicting Adolf Galland in his last combat sortie; leading Me262s of JV44 on an interception of USAAF bombers high over Bavaria.After being charged with the formation of JV44 - the famous Squadron of Experts - Adolf Galland became the only General in history to lead a squadron into battle. He finished the war with 104 air victories, all in the West, and was decorated with the Knights Cross with Oak Leaves, Swords and Diamonds.
