First Day of Issue / 1st Day Cover commemorating the flight of Junkers JU 52 3M 52R 272 by Euroworld Airlines MD from Cuatro Viientos Madrid to Cazeaux in Spain and then to Biggin Hill UK...It has a 5 pesata stamp and has been franked MAESTRANZA AERODROME MADRID CUATRO VIENTOS...It is a limited edition and is numbered 4 of 100...Inside there are two photographs , one of the Luftwaffe Transport Memorial and the other of Famous Luftwaffe JU 52 Transport Pilot Generalmajor Fritz Morzik Knights Cross Holder and his crew...The cover has been ink signed twice by Fritz Morzik and counter signed by Georg-Peter Eder KC , Erich Rudorffer KCOS , Johannes Steinhoff KCOS and Genearl Adolf Galland KCOSD , there is another signature that we are trying to decipher....The rear has been stamped Royal Air Force Biggin Hill 18 May 1978 and there is a stamped box of information on General Fritz Morzig KC...This particular cover has just been purchased recently by ourselves from the Great Luftwaffe General Adolf Galland's widow Heidi Galland , it was a gift to the late General for signing the edition of this cover at the time , It is part of a large batch of covers that we have just purchased from the late Generals widow Heidi Galland...priced @ £195.00 for this one off cover that once belonged to the Great General Adolf Galland.
