Rare British Forces 1st day cover of No 50 Squadron 15 May 1976 RAF Waddington...It has been franked ' 60th Anniversary of the British Forces 1531 Postal Service 15 May 76 ' and has a 6 1/2p stamp..The rear is stamped No 50 Squadron 15 May 1976 RAF Waddington...The cover is in celebration of a Fight , Flown by a crew of 50 Squadron in Vulcan B.Mk.2 on 3 May 1976. This training sortie retraced the route of the raid on Cologne in 1942 on which Fg. Off. L.T.Manser won the Victoria Crosss...Total Flight Time : 3 hrs 35 mins...It is signed by Sir Arthur T. Harris and Adolf Galland plus the crew of Vulcan B.Mk.2 , Captain : Wg.Cdr. D. Ward , M.A. , First Pilot : Flt.Lt. B. Head , B.Sc. Nav. Radar : Sqn. Ldr. J.A. Williams , Nav. Plotter : Flt. Lt.
