First Day of Issue / 1st Day Cover commemorating the 50th Anniversary of Colonel Charles Lindbergh Record Breaking Transatlantic Flight in the Spirit of St. Louis...5 flights were flown over the same routes taken by Lindbergh on his record breaking flight from the 10 may 1977 to 21 May 1977 in Air France Aircraft a Boeing 707 N590A a Boeing 727 N812A a Boeing 707 N7526 and lastly a Concord F-BYFD...It has been franked ' Roosevelt Field STA.NY May 20 1977 and has a 13 cent stamp 50th Anniversary Solo Transatlantic Flight...Comes complete with the information slip inside...This particular cover has just been purchased recently by ourselves from the Great Luftwaffe General Adolf Galland's widow Heidi Galland , it is not numbered and was a gift to the late General for signing the edition of this cover at the time , It is part of a large batch of covers that we have just purchased from the late Generals widow Heidi Galland...It is signed on the front by Luftwaffe Legend General Adolf Galland and William C. Edwards...priced @ £125.00 for this one off cover that once belonged to the Great General Adolf Galland.
