A rare Robert Taylor print featuring the legendary B-17 the Memphis Belle...This is the original untrimmed first print off the print run and is signed by Robert Taylor as Proof , Robert has also written in detail how he came up with the concept for the print , it reads : On returning back from watching them make the film the " Memphis Belle " we were talking our agent and myself on the next painting which features the Belle. I was watching the landscape go by when suddenly I said stop the car "Pat " for there before me was what I had been hoping for the landscape for the picture !
