Legends are pleased to offer this stunning Double Remarque of Legendary Royal Air Force Fighter Ace Douglas Bader , this copy is from Robert Taylor's personal collection and is unnumbered. Bader is seen sitting in the cockpit of his beloved Hurricane..The Colour print portrays Fighter Ace, Douglas Bader, flying his personal MkVa Spitfire high over the Pas de Calais, early in 1941. During this time Bader led the famous Tangmere Wing - known as Baders Bus Company - comprising three squadrons of the RAF's top Aces. This outstanding edition was published in 1982 and was to be signed by Sir Douglas Bader, but sadly the legendary pilot passed away before it could be completed. The prints were released signed only by the artist, Robert Taylor and after selling out very quickly are seldom seen on the secondary market these days. Here at Legends we have acquired this lovely condition copy and some years ago Robert had it signed by Sir Douglas Bader's widow, Lady JOAN BADER OBE...priced @ £1295.00 for this rare sold out print with it's beautiful Remarque.
