Scott CBE , AFC and the R101 Airship...It has been franked ' 60th Anniversary RAF Cardington 30 April 77 celebrating R31 R32 and R38 1917-1977...It also has a 6 1/2p stamp...The rear is stamped No. 217 M.U. 30 Apr. 1977 CARDINGTON BEDS...Comes complete with its two information slips inside...This particular cover has just been purchased recently by ourselves from the Great Luftwaffe General Adolf Galland's widow Heidi Galland , it is not numbered and was a gift to the late General for signing the edition of this cover at the time , It is part of a large batch of covers that we have just purchased from the late Generals widow Heidi Galland...It is signed on the front by Luftwaffe Legend General Adolf Galland and some one from the 49th Fighter Group 5th Air Force South Pacific that we are trying to decipher....priced @ £95.00 for this one off cover that once belonged to the Great General Adolf Galland.
