This outstanding drawing features a group of paratroopers outside the Cafe de Normandie enjoying a break in the intense fighting, during the Allied advance shortly after D-Day. Richard's work is simply superb and yet another reason why he is regarded as one of the best pencil artists in the industry. Each print is individually numbered and hand signed by the artist, Richard Taylor. This is the 101st Airborne Edition and each print has been personally autographed by four highly-respected veterans who served with Easy Co, 101st Airborne, during WWII: Colonel ED SHAMES , Sergeant PAUL ROGERS , Sergeant AMOS 'BUCK' TAYLOR and Corporal HERB SUERTH.
